CONOR MAHER

Conor is from Wexford, Ireland. He attended Winthrop University where he received a degree in Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration. During his time as a student-athlete at Winthrop, Conor was an International Ambassador, Orientation Leader, Admissions Assistant, and represented the soccer team on the NCAA Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).

As an Admissions Assistant, Conor learned valuable information about recruiting and assisting students on their college search. His work as an International Ambassador and SAAC member allowed him to continue assisting students as they settled into college life which enabled them to succeed both on and off the field.

Conor played for FC Carolina United (NPSL), Wexford Youths (League of Ireland) and for Winthrop University (NCAA Division 1) as a Co-Captain.

 

Conor has 8 years of experience in private coaching. He has grassroots coaching licenses from the Football Association of Ireland (FAI) and is a certified Recruitment and Player Scout from S4 Scouting. He will start working towards receiving UEFA coaching licenses in 2025.​​

Conor is a grandson of former Ireland, Manchester United and Leeds United player John Giles and the great nephew of the late Nobby Stiles, World Cup and Champions League winner.
